This lamp looks different in different light..sometimes metal sometimes pottery, sometimes more black sometimes more metallic gold. It's not as heavy as I anticipated.. I really like it.

Looks like the photo, but this is a really cheaply made lamp. Very lightweight, which I guess is a bonus in a way, but it's not very substantial in terms of quality / material.

Very nice style and the shades (bought 2) are lovely — great tan color and some texture to them. I looked a lot to find a 3-way lamp I liked. Most are taller than I like, but this is just right.

Great lamp! The gold is much more pronounced than it shows in the picture which for me was a plus!
