This is a really nice lamp, I was looking for a bedside lamp that was a bit on the tall-ish side to go with a tall headboard. The pattern in the ceramic base is really nice. My only complaint about it is that it's a warm white or an off-white (both the base and the shade). I was looking for something closer to pure white to match the existing duvet and ceiling fixture, and up against these pure white items the lamp doesn't look perfect. But unlike some off-white items, it doesn't show as yellow up against the pure white, so that's good, otherwise I'd return it altogether.

The perfect accent lamp for my small dresser! I ended up getting two it was so stylish with the pattern in the base. Love these!!
