It is a great bright light. Please check the measurements, because I thought it was bigger than actually was, but it updated the outside of our home.

These are gorgeous modern pieces and shed more than expected amount of light. I wanted to light up the front exterior of my house, especially after having a garage added. To unify the lighting I bought four of these, to go across the front and side of my house. I'm not a fan of in-ground lighting that up-lights a house because the light pollution that is transmitted into the atmosphere and makes it hard to see the stars. The alternative is lights on the house. I had an electrician install these because there was no existing wiring on the outside of the house. The electrician had to put a hole through the brick to install them but made sure they were all at the same height. The electrician added clear silicon caulk to the outside edge after installation, which I think added to their longevity. These are spaced about 15 feet apart and are plenty bright to provide security lighting for the house, and to keep the deer and other wildlife from sleeping on my porch. But they are not so bright that you look like a warehouse with klieg lights. They provide light to find the house, navigate the driveway and walkways, find the front door. It's been more than a year now. None have burned out, none have dimmed; there is no rust or corrosion. I have to brush the spiders off once a year but that's been pretty much the maintenance.
