The ceiling fan does everything they say it does. I found it easy to install following the instructions provided. The steel is heavy gauge and not flimsy like less expensive versions. The light is very bright to very dim depending on your choice. I don't like that the light is directed at the floor and does not illuminate the ceiling at all, leaving the room darker above the fan. The colored lights are a novelty and unnecessary, but fun nonetheless. Overall I would recommend it for the price I paid, $169.
