I was excited to get this fan but was a little disappointed when I opened it and realized that the wood grain is more of a yellowy color in person (vs. the darker, more muted finish shown in the product photos). It still liked it, though, and went through with having a professional install it. It was packaged nicely and seemed like it was fairly easy to assemble but when it came time to turn it on, we realized that the handheld remote wasn't working. Luckily, it came with a second remote that's for the wall that I've been using in the meantime but I put in a request for a replacement part and am waiting to hear back. Fingers crossed it's just a faulty remote and a new one will resolve the issue! The fan itself works great and is super quiet/gives off lots of air, especially for being on the smaller side -- I didn't want anything too big since our LED lights are pretty close! It doesn't give off much light but I guess that's better than being crazy bright, which I know is the case for a lot of fans out there!
