It’s exactly what I was hoping for. It was a little challenging to stuff the excess cord length behind the cover and found it hard to get the cover plate flush with the ceiling, but it worked out well enough.

I’m happy with this purchase... I couldn’t beat the deal and they look great in my kitchen. The quality is so-so but I’m not sure you can tell once they are hanging... and they were cheap so I’m ok with it!
