I am a self-proclaimed "Lighting Queen," and this beautiful onyx light cannot be done proper credit by pictures. Unlighted it is just a piece of stone, but flip it on and the magic begins. Soft light and softly decorative, its green colors are highlighted even more by the browns and the natural banding of lights browns and beiges of the stone it is cut from just serve as a background canvas to further accent the colors. I collect onyx lamps, just re-decorated my black & white & beiges and brought all shades of green, & nature itself through my large window, and with my other stone lamps stands out in an otherwise traditionally lit backdrop. In a dark room, they—gently—almost VIBRATE their beauty, and the lovely mood-setting glow of natural stone lit from within (think of viewing an expensive ring out in the sun—or in candlelight!)
