I ordered two of these and absolutely love them. They give off a warm light that is easily adjustable from very dim to regular strength; the base is sturdy and heavy so the light doesn't tip or rock at all; and the overall size is large enough to be visually impactful without taking up too much space on an end table or nightstand.
The issue I have with this light, however, is that the switch/dimmer knob on the cable is situated very close to the back of the base of the light. If the base is facing in a direction that is not easily accessible and/or not directly towards the individual, it makes it difficult to get at unless the entire switch/knob is kept directly on the table beside the light itself.
I initially purchased these lights to use on my nightstands beside my bed, preferably situated with the circle facing in towards the bed and the base towards the wall. When testing this out, however, the cable was on the opposite side of where I needed to grab, and with the dimmer knob situated so high up on the cable (and since I didn't want to keep the knob visible on the nightstand), it took quite a bit of moving and shifting the light just to get to the knob before turning it off to sleep. Because of this, I've moved the lights to the end tables in the living room where it's less of an issue if the knobs are harder to reach. They aren't perfect for that space, but I love them too much to return them, so I'm making them work there.. Brianne. Fort Collins, CO. Wed Dec 22 2021
