This arbor is exactly what I wanted for my native honeysuckle: solid wood, salt treated, not flimsy. Rounded edges, anchors included. I have very sandy soil where I put this arbor so I had to use extra anchors: 4 foot rebar pounded almost 3 feet in, and I think that'll do unless we get some serious weather. It took me several hours to put together just from having to drill the holes for the top bars and the anchors, if they had been pre-drilled this would be 5 stars.

I love this arbor! It was so easy to build and is a beautiful cedar red. It smells amazing as well. It is very stable and does not rock which is an issue I have had in the past with other arborsself standing trellises. The quality is great for the price - you really get what you pay for. I placed it against some white wood just to take a photo to show off the color but am planning on using it in my backyard for a rose vine and clematis I have. Very excited to use this!!

Assembly was straightforward. Some of the preformed holes were slightly off, which caused the vertical supports to not reach the top section evenly. The wood came splinteredchipped at the feet and dented easily. We threw a couple coats of clear exterior stain on it for weatherproofing. A few suggestions for anyone purchasing- anyone with rocky soil ATTACH THE STAKES TO THE ARBOR BEFORE PUTTING IT INTO THE GROUND. The instructions say to sink them first, but it was impossible to hammer them in perfectly aligned to where the arbor sat, as they’d go off kilter when they hit rocks. Also- we ended up digging out 8-in deep holes and pouring concrete footers (30 lbs in each hole) - without it, the arbor felt like it’d come down in a strong wind or if bumped into by a kiddog. All of that said, it looks beautiful and we already have had neighbors come by to compliment it. Glad we put a little extra work into ensuring it lasts.

The arbor was packed well. Took me some time to put it together but assembly is not my specialty. I ordered mine in white but it comes in many colors. I just installed it and will have to see how it holds up after a few north east winters. In retrospect I probably would have gone bigger than 3 feet but if that’s the space you have it will work fine.

Looks beautiful in person! Arrived quickly and it’s very well packaged and I’ve only seen one small dent on one of the lattices however since this is an item that is going outdoors I will assume it’s going to get beat up by the elements anyway. Can’t wait to install it!
