Works great! Took 5 50lb bags of fine play sand to fill all 4 sections. Seems to be of good quality. Kit does come with a funnel and supplemental screws if you want to mount the umbrella to a wooden deck then use the weighted base sections to add extra security.

Great base but extremely TEDIOUS and EXPENSIVE to fill with sand. I was mislead when I purchased it, not knowing that sand was required.

Such a great umbrella base. Been looking for something to keep the umbrella from tipping over. You have the option to fill with sand and a little water. We filled with just water and it’s held up just fine.

I order this plastic umbrella base for my husband and delivery was extremely fast. The base material is heavy duty. My husband just needs to add water and its ready to use for my umbrella. I highly recommend.
