Lasted through one spring summer. Cheap materials. Even bolted it to a frame we built but it couldn’t take a lot of wind, and at the first big wind we had one of the air vents popped open and broke

Seems a bit flimsy for our Alberta winds. Wish you could buy separate replacement parts for it.

Great greenhouse. We built on 6x6 wooden foundation. We also added translucent caulk to the windows to help keep heat in.

If you are reading this review there's probably a good chance you are considering purchasing this green house. May I suggest you make these considerations before you decide on this one. The total weight of the two boxes is about 200 lbs and may arrive separately on different days depending on where each box is coming from. (my shipments were a week apart) There are hundreds of unique parts, nuts, bolts , screws that have to be assembled in order and specified in a 38 page instruction book. If you lack mechanical skills, Are unfamiliar with basic tools or engineering principles, have a short attention span, can’t follow simple instructions, or you seek instant gratification after spending your $1000 you will probably be unhappy with this item. Contrary to some of the reviews that I read about this green house, I found the instructions to be well written and they include highly detailed diagrams that presented a logical and orderly approach to assembling this greenhouse. People like to blame their difficulties (whining) on bad instructions when they don’t have the requisite skills or patients needed to accomplish this assembly. Take the time to go on the manufacturers web page and download the assembly instructions to understand the process and features before you buy it. This greenhouse is extremely well engineered and when assembled correctly is attractive and will appeal to a hobby gardener. Consider that you are not going to have this assembled in one day. Every part and piece is labeled and identifiable. Patients is a must. There are a few things about this greenhouse that I am not happy about. The polycarbonate panels are not very rigid and do not inspire very good wind resistance. A lot of the structural components are very light weight aluminum extrusions that are prone to shipping damage. Many of the structural members are held together with molded plastic parts that are held with small sheet metal screws. There is no gasket around the roof windows and there is little resistance to block the inevitable leaks from a hard rain. You can add your own sealant if desired. Some things that I did like, All of the screws, nuts, bolts are stainless steel. The aluminum and steel parts are powder coated. The fit and finish is durable and attractive. So would I still buy it again knowing what I know now? Maybe, Probably.
