The concept is a good one, a way to protect your investment of planted fruit and vegetable and flowers planted from the elements, however it is a task to try to find the poles that fit the size of the grommets on the shade cloth and the material is kind of thin. I would measure your flower bed length and width before purchasing, but if the measurements work then your on to something.

I can’t use the shade cloth yet because it is fall here. The grommets are built into a strip of sturdy nylon that runs the perimeter of the 20x30 cloth. It comes with 40 nylon cable ties also. I tested it by getting under it in the sun as you can see in the third picture. It is definitely cooler under it I and keeps a lot of sunlight out. Can’t wait to use it in my garden.

I got this shade cloth for my backyard garden here in Texas. It gets so hot and my raised beds suffer during the heat so I’m hoping to extend my growing period by having this 50 shade cloth over my entire garden. It’s too late to put it up now, but it looks to be very good quality with the grommets and the zip ties so I’m looking forward to putting it up for next season.

This review is for the Amgo 50% black sunshade with grommets. It's made of a heavy duty UV block material and can be used almost anywhere you want protected from the sun. It allows rain, air and some light to filter through so it's ideal for greenhouses, garden areas, chicken runs, goose pens, dog pens, etc. These sunshades offer a lot of shade and come in an array of sizes to fit a variety of needs. We have used these for years with great success. I've included pictures of it installed and rolled back with zip ties. It's lightweight, but durable material makes these shades easy to work with. I would recommend these shade cloths!

If you have pets or a garden you have to buy this shade. We ordered the wrong size but that didn’t stop us from putting this up. It provides wonderful shade for our pets in the hot summer days. It’s light weight but incredibly strong and durable. I would recommend measuring before purchasing so you get the right size. Our pets loves the shade it provides.
