A great umbrella when it’s charged. There is no manual way to operate it so not useful unless charged. The lights make it look really beautiful at night. You can also charge the device using phone charger. The remote feature is great as you can control the umbrella from inside the house.

I was pleasantly surprised that this umbrella is rechargeable and even includes a solar panel for the top, no hardwiring needed. It’s very well made and quite heavy, which adds stability. The pole size (about 1.9–2 inches) made finding a base tricky. The lights are bright and create a great evening glow. Only downside, the remote needs a 23A battery that’s not included.

Horrible product horrible customer service. DO NOT BUY. Wayfair and manufacturer will not stand by the product. Purchased this umbrella and upon unboxing, began charging controller and after overnight, the controller was still not charged. Tried a different cable other than the one included and the controller charged. Attached the fully charged controller to umbrella and nothing. Pressing up down buttons did nothing. Tried remote and again nothing. Requested to return item and was told that was not an option! So 200 later, inoperable umbrella that cannot be opened or closed manually and unable to return so we’ve lost 200. Avoid buying anything from Wayfair as they do not stand by their products.
