The square fire ring was not what I expected. It screws together in each corner of the base. It holds up well and contains a fire like it should. Its well made and sturdy. It should last a long time. However, the edges are very sharp and my littlest got cut on it once or twice. So we cut up some pool noodles to cushion the sides corners.

I’m very pleased with this fire ring. I’ve had it now for probably three years and I’ve had a lot of fires and it’s worked quite well.
