After spending tens of thousands of dollars on our wedding, we weren't looking to lay out another couple thousand dollars on the rehearsal dinner. So instead, we decided to buy these inexpensive tents to set up in our backyard for the rehearsal dinner.
For the price, they can't be beat. These are the largest we found at this price point. The joints are all plastic however, so I'm not certain that we'll get more than a handful of uses out of them. The poles are all metal however. If they manage to make the joints metal, then I think that this would last a lot longer most likely.
With that said, the tarp is strong, the Frameworks, and it actually keeps out when and cold pretty well. We kept it up for almost a week when we first got it just to test it out and make sure it would work, and during that time there were fairly high winds, as well as rain on multiple days, and it withstood it all. We anchored it down using the metal anchors and ties that came with the 10th but we also used tent weights on each leg. I think that definitely helped to give its stability against the elements.
While this isn't a long-term solution, it certainly will provide us the space that we need in order to have our rehearsal dinner for our October wedding. And we won't have to worry about whether it's cold or raining at that time, which is great. And it comes without spending hundreds of dollars on a tent rental service on top of all of the other costs for the dinner as well as the actual wedding day. So I would strongly recommend this tent with those caveats in mind.
