The large wooden feeder has a few design flaws. The acrylic windows doesnt stay in place and the wood is very thin and the screws became stripped and wouldnt tighten. The tracks for the windows doesnt line up well and made it difficult to slide the windows in place. Its not as sturdy as I hoped and am worry that it will fall apart once seeds are placed in and birds try to come eat. Its a nice concept but it does fall short of the mark. Im not sure it is really sturdy enough to use. Im afraid this may end up collapsing with weight.

Super disappointed with this purchase. I give it a couple of stars as the wood works and it does what it says …. sort of. First of all, it does not slide out to 36” or 38” (the description states both). To really work you need the space to be 27”. If you have to extend it, you cannot lower your window to get the actual seal. Plus you get little gaps all over the place. I knew it would be a little short for my window at 38” but I could make it work. This is ridiculous. It fits maybe 60 of the window. Now about that plexiglass. Yeah no. This is so cheap and flimsy it’s not going to last. When putting it together -which TBH is straightforward - you have to keep the plexiglass in these grooves of the wooden frane. It’s a frustrating nightmare and it could still pop out. I’ve put it together so I don’t know if I can return it but I would not buy again. If you do, having modern windows is pretty much a requirement. .

Nice solid wood window birdfeeder. Easy assembly. Everything needed is included. Installs in window in minutes. Fits standard window perfectly. Easy access to fill with seed. Nice viewing area. Real wood frame.

This bird feeder with a window is a super cute idea! The window is more of a plexiglass window, and not an actual glass piece. As a person who lives in the upper Midwest, this will be a 2 or 3 seasons fixture. I have yet to place it IN a window, but will update if there are issues.

My husband LOVES watching the birds in the backyard. I thought he would enjoy this bird feeder when the weather is rough and he cannot sit outside. He decided our bedroom window is where he wanted it and proceeded to install. It had a gap on the top that he somehow fixed. I think some cuts were involved. Please be advised that it may need some alterations to fit in your space as well. As far as quality goes, this is an all wooden feeder. It is beautifully made-nice quality. We are looking forward to enjoying some bird-watching throughout the winter.
