When this order first arrived, I was extremely pleased by the speed of delivery, the beautiful colours in the socks and what seemed to be a very good quality.
After a very windy day I noticed the 'tails' seemed to be glued together. Thinking that they possibly got wet and just stuck together, but on a closer look, they had all begun to fray along the sides of the tails and became attached to each one because there were fine threads meshed into each other. Now, I'm very disappointed in the quality. The top of the sock seems fine so far, but I will try to salvage the tails by either taping them or actually sewing a light weight seam binding along all the sides & bottom. Some type of initial reinforcement is definitely needed. Even after I trimmed the loose threads off, a gentle wind also caused them to fray. For the price of them, I would highly recommend that an improvement be made during construction process so they can withstand wind movement - after all, they ARE WIND SOCKS!
I have placed several orders with Wayfair in the past and have had absolutely NO complaints. I just have a real quality issue with this one and wanted to make you aware for
the benefit of future buyers.
