Needs something around bottom of feeder to keep bird food from dropping on the ground.

Looks very nice! Unfortunately the seed just falls out since there is no boarder stopping the seed from falling on the ground. Also no perch for the birds to land on. I installed my own boarder and added perches. A blue jay landed on the top and it fell off. Now I have to screw the top down. Since this has to be removed before you can fill it I do believe for the price I paid for this feeder I would have expected much better quality and design.
