This little birdhouse is charming and has beautiful, vibrant colors. It looks exactly like the online images and matches the description. It arrived ahead of schedule but was not well packed. The lower right corner of the base was broken and bent probably from flopping around in the box. I did not bother returning it because of what happened when I purchased a similar birdhouse in 2024. The item purchased last year was beautiful and colorful however, the colors faded rapidly and the birdhouse started to come apart by the 3rd month (the pressed board from which these birdhouses are made is not weather tolerant it is sort of like quarter inch plywood made from glorified cardboard).
These birdhouses would be perfect for use as home decor or if mounted in a protected area, such as a porch. I mounted mine under trees along a 6 ft tall privacy fence. It is somewhat sheltered and other birdhouses are tolerant of the location, but these are not. This is why I only rated 3 stars. If you want to use this as decor only, then it would be rated 5 stars.
