Purchase two of these and really thoroughly enjoy them!!

Too flimsy. Top arm should be stronger and more rigid to hold the top of the umbrella. The crank mechanism is not consistent. Sometimes it open when turning forward and sometimes when turning backwards. On the positive: the fabric feels very durable. Good rib construction.

The umbrella base for my Midtown cantilever umbrella was over 300! Do I ordered this one instead. At first it was clear that it wouldn’t fit my base, but it actually comes with an adapter that enabled me to make a perfect fit! Very substantial and well made. And super easy to install. I highly recommend this base!

This is not as complicated as it looks...but please note this base is Big and very well made. The wheels make all the differance. You are able to move this base wherever you want. See the opening for water or sand. Well, one of the varables for patio stands is that they are awkward and clumsy to fill. This is not difficult at all. Very well made. Highly recommended!

This is a nice base that comes with another kit that can act as an adapter in case your base does not fit your umbrella. That is a nice touch. It also comes with the tools. The base itself came already assembled. It has wheels but only at one side of the square. This is nice because you can roll it instead of lifting as it is very heavy without the water being in it. It came with holes that are corked to fill the base with sand or water and holes at the side to let out the content. Overall, it is nice but bigger than expected even though i read the dimensions before ordering.
