Pluviomètre spiralé en métal

This unadorned rain gauge was easy to insert in my primary front garden bed. It arrived just in time for me to place prior to the heavy rains we are forecasted to experience during the coming week.

I bought this rain gauge to replace an old one that had broken. I love the simplistic beauty of the design. I adds a nice decoration to my yard. I didn't read the description and didn't realize that pole is shorter so we will have to pull it up out of the grass whenever we do the yard but that is not enough of an issue to return it. It's just a minor inconvenience. It does seem like the glass cylinder is a little thinner than rain gauges I've had in the past but I've only had this one a week so I can't vouch for the longevity or say that it's going to be less durable.

Rain gauge measures up to 5” rain. Very simple look but I love it! Will be low to the ground. Giving as a gift to weather watching people!

Thank you. I enjoy my rain gauge.

Difficult to get the gauge out without pulling the stand out of the ground. Not easy to get stand in the ground and have the gauge be straight. Not useful.
