This base is 40lbs and it was too heavy for me to move anywhere, so a friend helped me move it to the yard and put it together. It was purchased to support a freestanding 9 ft umbrella (not under a table with a center hole...my table has no hole), and so far we haven't had much wind to test out that situation, but I think I should have ordered at least a 45 lb base (or heavier) for my situation. This base would probably be fine for use under a table with a center hole because that automatically gives the umbrella more support. The black base is very nice looking though!

This is a heavy duty patio umbrella base. It easily fit our umbrella and seems likely to hold up in breezy conditions. So far, so good.

Sturdy!

Item arrived in good condition, and was easy to assemble. The weight will be sufficient for a 9 foot diameter market umbrella and the post height is decently tall to support the umbrella pole.
