This is a very sturdy and stable hammock stand. I have been a little disappointed by the wood splitting on some of the boards. That said, with wood, glue and clamps, I expect that the structure will be stronger than ever.

Great stand but it did split over the winter. We left it out thinking it was sturdy enough but didn't last.
