The end result is very good with an attractive, solid bench. It would have been five starts but got four as the assembly was a little more challenging than expected . First, our bench is only 34" wide, not the 36" advertised. I affixed the upper leg beam, dropped bolts in to the lower leg beam holes and positioned it on the legs - the holes did not align with the bolts. Same for the second leg. I had to drill new holes leaving some of the pre-drilled holes exposed. The diagram shows the braces with a gap between them. My braces were so long they had to overlap and were too long, sticking past the lower leg beam so I had to trim those. To me, that is sloppy manufacturing and easily avoided with tighter procedures and quality control. I can only upload one photo but took pics of all the issues I experienced.

I love this bench. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It looks great under my pergola.

Could not attach the back part to the bench. It was not put together correctly to line up with the seat. I had to wait sever weeks for a new bench to be sent to me. Overall, a nice good quality bench. Hopefully, this was a factory fluke and won't happen to anyone else.

Such a cute bench. Only thing it was missing a few parts. Luckily my husband can fix anything!
