Chaise berçante Gabbert

We bought two matching rockers. Both are Heavy solid acacia wood. The finish on both was poorly applied with some uneven stain and glue smudges. They both required some sanding to make them look right. On each chair one bolt hole didn’t line up and required some drilling. At least one wood screw was broken out on each chair and had to be repaired. Wayfair customer service was excellent and would have accepted returning them but we wanted to repair them. So they worked with us. Sanding and repairs added at least an hour to each assembly.

Beautiful, sturdy chairs. Only problem is they are difficult to assemble. Definitely not for an amateur. I highly recommend a power tool for this job.
