This is a unique-looking rain gauge, and the beehive lights up beautifully at night. However, I agree with another reviewer that if water gets inside the beehive, it can short out the light. After a light rainfall, I’ve had to wiggle the top to get it working again. The top could definitely be sealed better to prevent this issue. 06/02/2026 Update: Well a simple move in the garden broke the solar panel and now it's hangin on it's side - the unit is very flimsy. A replacement would be appreciated.

I wanted a decorative rain gauge. The solar is perfect and wow! Does it glow all night. It’s perfect in my yard!
