A Swedish Ladder for Kids, Sized for Lower Ceilings The 79 inch Walnut is the Avenlur Swedish ladder wall gym built for rooms with ceilings under 8 feet: basements, attic playrooms, older homes and spaces with a soffit. At 78.8 inches tall, it brings the same 9-in-1 play as the full-height Walnut to rooms where a taller climber won't fit. It mounts flat against the wall, about 25.7 inches deep, so the rest of the room stays open. Nine Ways to Play Swedish ladder: Rungs for climbing, hanging and stretching. Rock wall: Colorful holds for an indoor climbing wall. Rope wall and rope ladder: Two wobbly climbs that build balance. Rock ramp climber: An angled climb for toddlers. Slide: The quick way back down. Swing and trapeze swing: Indoor swinging all year. Pull-up bar: For kids building strength, and for parents too. A Great First Climber for Toddlers The lower frame makes the 79 inch Walnut a natural fit for young families. Toddlers from 1 year old can start on the rock ramp and the lower rungs, then work up to the rope wall, rings and slide as they grow. Following Montessori principles, kids choose their own challenge and build strength, coordination and confidence at their own pace, with an adult nearby. Solid Wood That Holds the Family Made from solid New Zealand pine with a smooth varnished finish and rounded edges, the Walnut holds 220 pounds per person and 500 pounds in total. It's tested to ASTM and CPSIA standards and bolts securely into your wall studs. Need More Height or Flexibility? Have ceilings of 8 feet or more? Choose the 95 inch Walnut.
