This kit is very well designed, packed, and it was fun to put together. Although we live in Arizona, we chose a wood pergola because it's organic and fits better on the landscape. We absolutely love the two panel design because we wanted to focus on the view and not have a pergola post in front of us. The pergola is beautiful and adds value to our property. I can't say enough about the quality and beauty of this pergola.

instead of putting all 12 bars on the seat support, I suggest leaving #1 & #12 off until after installing the support, easier to reach the end holes.

I finally got the pergola up and love it. Pretty easy to set up (directions could always be better). The materials were better than expected. The cedar was straight and in very nice shape. Hardware heavy duty. I feel it was a good purchase.
