Although I haven't put this up yet, I look forward to next spring when I can. It's a pretty cool way to bird watch without harassing the birds. Comes with very inclusive directions for set up and it looks like it should be pretty easy!

This new bird feeder is incredible. There are several parts of it that are of particular notice. First and foremost, the side angle view of the camera is so nice. Instead of the normal head-on shot, this view lets you watch your feathery friends from the side. Another item that I really like is having the solar panel attached to the top of the feeder instead of a separate piece that must also be mounted. The convenience this provides is amazing. An interesting perspective and a real joy to watch. This is our 4th Birdfy unit, and as with the others, it was easy to set up and connect. And it is well made. Sturdy and it looks great. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited for my new Cedar Birdfy feeder to arrive. Setup was incredibly easy, and the connection process was super simple. While it comes with several different mounting options, I used the pole clamp to set it up right alongside my existing feeder in the corner of the yard. It is a fantastic addition to my Florida native plant garden! Right out of the box, the size and color are perfect; the organic look blends seamlessly into the surrounding trees and nature. One of my favorite features is the solar panel. It completely eliminates the hassle of having to take the feeder down to recharge it, which is a massive quality-of-life upgrade. It also comes with a suet ball attachment that my local Cardinals have been absolutely loving. I already own a traditional wood Birdfy feeder, but what makes this new cedar version such a great companion is the camera placement. While my original one captures everything from a straight-on perspective, this new model offers a distinct side-angle view. It’s really neat getting a different profile look at the birds as they land and feed. Overall, the AI detection is snappy, the design is thoughtful, and it offers a fresh perspective on my daily feathered visitors. Highly recommend!

perfect camera - great built in solar system and all in all efficient build.

We love this feeder! We didn't have any suet yet, but put some cut fruit in the wire holder and the birds loved it! It holds a surprising amount of birdseed. The AI is really cool for beginners like us who don't know birds that well yet.
