great birdfeeder luv what its made from

I like that it is made of recycled material, it looks sturdy and attractive. Thus far the birds are not coming to it but I just put it out. I got woodpecker suet pellets to put in there. The opening up top is somewhat small and awkward to fill, also the nuggets tend to fly out when you are filling.

Our wooden was just to old, finally decided to buy a new recycled one. The woodpeckers, etc love it. Very well made

Best woodpecker feeder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well unfortunately this bird feeder has not been one that birds are flocking to. We have several feeders on our lake property and have at least 6 woodpeckers that are here daily. We have yet to see even one land on this feeder in two weeks. Not a bit of seed has been eaten. The woodpeckers will eat from the feeder next to it that is filled with the same seed, so not sure what the deal it. A couple of things to note - this feeder is made of recycled plastic which is great but the material is very heavy. I mean heavy. It also have a gap in the top so water does get down in the seeds. I'm not a fan of this design since the water gets in so easily and the birds don't seem to like it.
