This type of cover works great for keeping leaves and debris out all winter and letting the water/snow melt in to the pool in the spring Pros: Spring slean up is easier

It works great. It's easy to pull all the leaves off the pool cover, but it's not so easy to pull the leaves off the net itself. It's like trying to pull crabs out of a crab net (if you've ever tried to do that).
