These chairs are painted and they are already chipping and peeling. They were delivered at the end of May and have only been outside since early June. Due to the peeling and chipping paint there is now water getting under the paint causing the wood to crack and the rest of the paint to bubble. They are attractive chairs but they are not holding up well. I would not recommend them.

Great set, easy to put together. Took about an hour to unpack and build both. Very sturdy construction, I do recommend getting some accent pillows for lumbar support.

Hard to put together (needed to pay someone to put together at an added cost). Paint job uneven. Wood is thin. Not very comfortable (need to buy cushions at an added cost). Do not collapse (need to buy special covers at an added cost).
