Stripes aren’t solid dark black but I wouldn’t say it’s light and more like jeans coloring either. It’s so nice and lightweight compared to my old one which was top heavy and wouldn’t constantly fall in the tabletop stand it was in and I don’t think I’ll have any problems with this one.

I love the size and shape, but the color is not black!! It is a dark grey. Which I decided to keep the umbrella even though the color is not right.
