Too dark. The only area that has some light to it when it gets dark is the tail. Body of the peacock should be lighter colored (maybe neon painted) or it too should be solar powered to give off light when dark out.

We usually do up our deck every summer with flowers, rocks, crystals, etc, and this shiny fellow fits right in. He's the perfect size for us; I love the colors, and the 'gems' add a nice, sparkly touch. As far as the LED goes, it does work as described, but the bulb is so tiny, and being inside the bird, you can't see much light. However, it does throw some really cool looking shadows, so maybe that was the actual intent. In any case, whether lit or not, he looks really cool.
