[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a gas grill and never used it. Actually I only use the gas grill for seasoning my cast irons. Once I started cooking over charcoal, I never stopped. Food tastes so much better! Clean up is so much easier than a gas grill. I don't even use the kitchen stove anymore. The ash pan works fine but it's a little too complex for my liking. I live in the country and I don't care if I make a mess. But everyone I know lives in town and cooks on a patio. For them, I would recommend this design of ash tray to keep the patio clean.
