Ya'll have Surpassed ALL Expectations with this product. It's quality, styling and shear flexibility put the Smokin' Pro in a class all by itself. I was looking for an offset smoker: What I received is a Universal BarBQue Grilling Monster Machine that can literally do it all. Best Money I've Spent, Period. Pros: Will happily provide complete support for any outdoor grilling style you'd care to attempt, except cold smoking. All needed items included (no cleanup items). Very Cool modular design makes cleanout a Breeze. Cons: These are minor: HOT wood fires in the offset box will remove the finish. Suggest: reinforce firebox metal thickness, especially adjacent to the box's hinges. Also, some exposed edges are finished, but very thin and sharp: If Kids are present, Watch Em Close..Be Careful During Assembly. Suggest: Break & Roll exposed metal edges prior to finishing.

My Char Griller never fails to deliver a tasty brisket. I rub the brisket and it sits 4 hours in the fridge. Then I light some charcoals and put in the side firebox. From there, the meat goes on with an aluminum bowl of water in the main chamber. And I put on chunks of mesquite logs.

I bought this grill for a large crowd expected for Mothers Day and was really excited to get this unit. Almost every single component for this grill had some degree of damage. From the legs, primarily grill barrel, the side smoker, EVERYTHING. Even the lower part of the primary grill barrel is bend preventing a perfect closure. The parts package was damaged causing the nuts, small bolts, washers and cotter pins to be all over the box. The side trays attachment was even bent making installation onto the lower barrel very difficult. It’s almost as if Char-Griller loaded my unit in a plane and tossed it out from 30,000 feet. The amount of damage on this “new” grill is so over the top that it almost seems like they’re playing a cruel joke. The quality of my purchase is totally unacceptable and makes me question if quality control even matters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my smoker for going on 8 years strong the material and structure is solid some rust on the outside but cmon after all these years smoking and bbqing all it really is, is just has personality. I have yet to find any reason to switch to any other manufacturer.
