There were some issues getting holes lined up due to being drilled out of alignment, but we eventually got it figured out. There were also some scrapes and pits in the paint coating. If you’re planting overflowing style plants you should be good and not notice some of the surface discrepancies.

I am really happy with the size and sturdiness of this planter box. It only took 40 minutes to build. There were a few minor bent sections but I was able to easily reshape them with a mallet. This is going to priovide great support for my passion fruit vine. There's plenty of planting space at the bottom for herbs and veges as well.

Excited about this planter box and trellis combo! I have a very European-driven (I'm Italian) house and on the side of my house (we call the Alleyway) I created this little bistro nook that my husband and I love to have little date nights at (the other side has an extra large potted olive tree and beautiful clay pots and a leaning mirror etc) making it very intimate and cozy. Except for the much-needed shed that's right there... So to keep with my beautiful romantic European flow I needed something on the side of the shed that could make the area still feel private, but add beauty and flair to it instead of the side of a shed. This fit the bill beautifully! I have 2 hostas that desperately needed planting (as you can see), so those will go on either side, and I'm thinking of doing a fragrant Serotina Honeysuckle to climb up the trellis and maybe a little annual spiller plants: Silver Falls. I think that will be absolutely beautiful and will eventually fill the trellis to make a gorgeous and fragrant living wall, and it'll just be so romantic! I'M SO EXCITED!!! Now, some of the parts came dinged pretty hard, but I just hammered the metal back in place to make it flat enough to assemble. Also the black finish scratches easily. But once it's covered in plants, I really don't think anyone will notice :) Lastly, one of the steps is confusing, but you need to slide the back piece (4th wall piece) INTO the first trellis attachment, then screw it together. Other than those few things, it has great drainage (5 holes) and is pretty sturdy. It's only 12-14 inches deep (whatever it says in the listing) so note that for root depth when choosing plants to put in it. And also the fact that it's metal might mean you need to wrap the outside of it if you live somewhere too cold. Also, I'm sure it'll rust overtime (maybe will have to fix with Rustoleum spray paint as it ages), but the 4ft width is great! So for now it's a slam dunk! YAY!

More than pleased with this planter boxtrellis. I’ve been looking for one that was large enough to hide the unsightly transformer in my yard that I’m not allowed to permanently block and this is movable, substantial in size and on point with the listing dimensions. The box was very heavy and it’s quite sturdystable once assembled. The way it’s constructed it should stay in place without blowing over and the frame is solid enough to support heavier type vines, potted plants, or yard art. It was time-consuming to assemble because the instructions were subpar. The product overview stated under details that a drain plug is included, however, upon further inspection of the box and packing materials there wasn’t one. It wasn’t needed on my end, but it’s worth noting in case someone needs or prefers to have plugs.
