I ordered this Shade Replacement Canopy for its name. I lost 2 of three huge spruce trees in my yard. Meanwhile we have now got 90” heat while I am trying to rehab the sudden parched weedy dirt whey used to call home. This is my first attempt at stringingsomethin like a Sail for shade, really, for any purpose. It was surprisingly simple, more than I thought The canopy I ordered is the green shade which is sparkly in it synthetic woven fabric. I would put ten of these up but will have to settle for the ine for now. I think another version of this one may be in my future as I stuggle to get watet to my remaining trees. Thanks Wayfair. This shade canopy has been an absolute game changer for our pool equipment area. We needed something durable and functional to protect our pool pump and filter from the intense Texas sun, and this delivered beyond expectations. The material is thick, well-stitched, and feels extremely sturdy. Even after days of direct sunlight and wind, it has held its shape without sagging or fraying. We’ve purchased the cheaper versions before, and there is truly no comparison. Those thinner shades faded quickly, stretched out, and didn’t hold up to wind or constant sun exposure. This one is hands-down 100 times better in quality. You can immediately see and feel the difference in the fabric weight, reinforced stitching, and strong grommets. It’s clear this product is built to last much longer than the budget varieties. Installation was simple and secure, and once in place, it noticeably reduced the harsh heat beating down on our equipment. The airflow underneath is great, while still providing excellent UV protection. I also love the neutral color—it blends seamlessly with the fence and backyard without looking bulky. If you’re debating between a cheaper option and this one, spend the extra money. It’s absolutely worth it. The durability, performance, and long-term value make this a smart investment.

This product came wrapped in what looked like a used bag taped up as if sent from one of those 3rd party resellers of new/used goods online. It was surprising to say the least. The product inside was clean and some hardware (in another sketchy taped-up bag) and zip ties were included. The item is the size ordered and the color selected, so that part is a plus. The fabric definitely provides the shade, but doesn't go so far as being like blackout fabric (that's good!) The hardware and zip ties attachments don't seem like they would look very nice on a pergola, but since we were just using it to provide some shade for the kids' climber during the Texas summers, it actually works well for us. The grommets are small (which is good) and they are good quality, as is the above-and-below stitching to keep the seam housing them secure. It's not a bad product at all. It just loses a star for the hardware/attachments and the questionable packaging (is it really new? did it come from a company or some guy in his basement?) Depending on your purpose/use it could be very good or not sufficient quality. For the price, we would say that you want to be sure before you buy.
