The hardware was just what I needed. I used 4 3" screws for each of the brackets. The instructions don't discuss using guy wires, but I used two ratchet straps which I will replace with cables when I get the parts.

Whatever we are doing our backyard is our sanctuary year round but the weather especially the hot sun does chase us back inside and this is where the Coolaroo Coolhaven Shade sail has come in handy. This shade-sail keeps the heat and uv rays to a minimum and helps us stay outside longer enjoying our backyard activities. The shade -sail took the 2 of us to set up, we did need to attach the pad eyes to 4 stable corners. We used all of the hardware that came inside the box but did need to purchase some cord to extend the shade-sail to reach the desired area. I like that this really does provide adequate protection from the sun and that this shade-sail is very sturdy as well as, breathable, toxin-free and mild and mildew resistant. This is perfect for our needs and we are considering purchasing a much larger one of these co cover more area for our needs. This has far exceeded our expectations.
