Carillon Tazmin

I love how long this wind chime is but the metal bells were poorly coated with a powder green finish that was already flaking off before I even got it out of the bag. This chime was bought to replace an older (and much smaller) version that fell apart from the elements years ago. That chime was my favorite one and I've been having trouble finding another wind chime of this type locally. Sadly this chime also isn't very loud. My last one like this one had this resonance to it. I think the powder finish absorbs that resonance here. All in all it's not a bad wind chime and it looks great hanging in my courtyard but I likely wouldn't have bought it if I had known that it wasn't as musical.

Takes a lot of wind to chime but looks nice on the porch as a decoration.
