Very solid and nice color

Stars for appearance and potential function only. So excited about this bench and when we opened the box we found an entire chunk looked like it had been torn off. My biggest concern is if the wood is so soft and fragile during shipping, while it’s in its padded box, I’m not sure it can reasonably be expected to do its job of holding people.

Both legs for the big side of the bench were received broken. Vendor is to ship new pieces, time to get them takes longer than to receive the bench in the first place. Very disappointed.

I wish the manufacturer could have found an easier way to design this for assembly. Putting the individual pieces together was tedious and took forever — definitely more time-consuming than I expected. That said, like most furniture from Wayfair, once assembly was complete, it was worth it. The extendable dining bench looks great and functions exactly as I hoped. If you buy this, just set aside plenty of time for assembly and youll be happy with the end result.

This piece works just right for the existing outdoor table we have in the backyard. Fairly simple to assemble and key feature is its ability to extend as needed. Would like to see it offered in more natural shades.
