And let me say that this ice chest keeps things frigid cold. Even at a family BBQ with lots of opening and closing there was still loads of ice. I also think that the accessories that you can buy are beneficial.

Two inches of insulation to keep the heat out and the cold in! 12 days later we still had ice in this cooler that refused to melt! The latching and sealing system is amazing keep things nice and cold tight! Very light weight when empty and medium weight when it was slam full! If you planning a camping trip or even a fishing trip and need to keep things cold for days at a time this is your cooler so look no further!

Heavy duty, great features like a built in bottle opener, multiple locking options, and even accessories available to upgrade it. It's already come in handy for a long weekend rv trip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in an area where we get hurricanes so my choice on getting this cooler was based on how long it would keep ice/keep things cold. The cooler is a great size and durable. It had some weight to it for sure (about 20lbs or so empty). I put this cooler to the “Ice test” the moment we got it and the ice is still holding up days later. This will be great for outdoor parties and grilling as well. I’m very pleased with it. The only con is the weight of it empty, but it guess that’s necessary to keep the temperature regulated.
