[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Engel Roto-Molded 50-Quart Portable Hard Drink Cooler has far exceeded my expectations. We received the cooler in Coastal White which is an off-white color. You can see the quality of the cooler before ever opening it. There are two rope handles (one on each side) for carrying, an easy turn drain spout at the bottom, holes to add a padlock to keep the cooler locked, and heavy duty locking latches that double as bottle openers. It is airtight and is rated to hold ice up to 10 days. The cooler will hold up to 50 canned drinks and can even hold dry ice. We use it for sodas, water, and cold food items when we go to the lake, games, or around the house for cook-outs. It holds everything our family needs, plus some. I haven’t tested out the 10 day rating, but I do know ice has lasted in the heat of summer for 4 straight days before we empties it. Ice does melt, just at a slower rate than most coolers I’ve used in the past. The option to add a pad or combination lock to the cooler has been a welcome bonus for those times when we need somewhere safe to put keys, phones, wallets, etc. We place them in an airtight box or gallon size baggie and put a padlock on it. I am exceptionally impressed with this cooler and will definitely buy Engel cooler products in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm loving my new Engel 50qt cooler. Keeps ice and drinks cold for multiple days in the sun. The latches are easy to use and way better than the competition. The latch even acts as a bottle opener so it's a very efficient cooler. I loaded my cooler down with ice and drinks and put the cooler in the back of my truck. After 4 days in the back of the truck that's exposed to the Texas sun there was still some ice in there and my drinks were still cold! I take it everywhere now.
