Sadly the thermometer is too small for the scale of the plate - it could be much nicer, but you have to be directly in front to see the temperature. I will not purchase from Wayfair again as I had to pay shipping to see the product and now I have to pay shipping to return it - totaling over $10. Really not worth it - when other vendors have much friendlier shipping policies and better pricing.
