Sturdy and stylish mailbox. The viewing window is helpful to see if you’ve received mail. Sometimes if you get a lot of junk mail they will leave it in the drop shute because it fills up the mailbox. It does not bother me, but if you are looking for something that’s very roomy and super private, you may need a larger box. For me It’s perfect. It’s also weather resistant and none of my mail was ever wet from rain, thunderstorms, or snow.

I bought this mailbox after a very careful search because it was "built to withstand abuse" according to the description. Description also claimed this: "With galvanized metal and a powder finish to ensure longevity, simply install your mailbox and worry no more." After just two months on the wall, the metal handle is all rusted. Needless to say, all of this wasn't built for longevity. You would think that something like the handle would have been factored into the guarantee. I am not happy. It didn't take long to ruin the look at out front door.

This mailbox was a replacement for an old brass mailbox that looked like it had been through a battlefield. The item was exactly as described. The measurements provided in the description were accurate. Pricing was reasonable, availability was the deciding factor and shipping was fast.
