I'm 78 and single, so opening up the box with many parts and only pictorial instructions I was a bit intimidated, especially since it indicated it was a 2 person assembly. Fortunately I remembered how a similar umbrella I'd purchased 6 years ago had been assembled (by someone else) ; I was able, in 2 hours, to figure it out and put it up by myself. I actually like the engineering of this product better than my previous umbrella. It is very appealing when fully open. It is critical to purchase a weighted base to make certain the umbrella stays upright in a breeze.

Good quality umbrellas. Purchased 4 of these along with some extra heavy bases and they have been sturdy and lasted well. They are being used commercially and look very nice. Very easy to assemble!

Well made, handsome and the venting really helps in the wind. The only surprise was the pole was not long enough to keep the collapsed umbrella from hitting the table. This is likely intended and can be fixed with either an umbrella base or a piece of PCV to raise the pole about 5".
