I like this heavy duty square umbrella base it was compatible to my umbrella fit perfectly It can be used as a table base but I will use it for an umbrella along side my pool it is very sturdy I won’t have to worry about about the umbrella coming out from wind

Update: Wayfair could not send just the correct screw so they sent another entire product. This one arrived in a banged up box. The screw to fasten the base to the umbrella insert was long enough this time. But there was no screw to tighten the umbrella. The box was so banged up with a whole in the corner it may have fallen out. I had that part from the original order. So I was able to put it together finally after combining parts from two separate orders. Not good. The base is heavy and seems to be of good quality. The reason I am giving it a one star is because the assembly instructions are the worst I have ever seen. First, the label in the parts list, listed a bolt as C and a bolt with the handle as E. But in the picture below the parts list, the illustration shows C going into B. Most importantly, they never show how to attach B (the post) to A (the base) except with a little cartoon man confused in the upper right hand corner of the instructions. The bolt labeled C does not seem to be long enough to go through the bottom of the base and attach to the post. Additionally, no tools are provided to deal with the single bolt. An email is given to contact if there are any questions. A customer should not have to email for support for what should be a simple assembly process. It is truly unnecessary and very frustrating. If I do not hear back from the support email, I will contact Wayfair. I will update this review when I get a resolution or if I do not get one.

This umbrella base is perfect. It’s really heavy. It’s well-made easy to put together and it’s modern looking I would highly recommend buying this perfect for umbrellas of all sizes, it’s made of durable. I want to say maybe rubber so there shouldn’t be any maintenance.

Wish I had read the review before ordering. This is exactly what I needed, a sturdy outdoor umbrella stand...what I didnt need was to have to plan a trip to the hardware store to find a boltscrew thats actually longer than the one provided. There was absolutely no way to assemble the base and stem because the screw was so short. Its looks great but the quality control crew absolutely dropped the ball.
