Set is plastic. It comes in several pieces, which is manageable. However my set did not arrive with all hardware included.

I like this set. However, I knew to lightly screw in all the screws before tightening everything and the table holes did not align. The other issue i had was that the cushion covers came in the wrong cover. I got a gray and dark blue. Not the aqua. And honestly, I thought the other cushiosn were dark brown and not gray. The manufacturer sent me a replacement which was good. However, I got the dark blue cushion covers again. So im waiting for them to send me the aqua ones. Not sure if they need to update the product and they no longer have the aqua color. But it was one of the reasons I got this set. So hoping the aqua comes in.
