For me this was a perfect planter and that's why I have given it five stars. The clay pot is light weight and that's what I wanted. I needed a large size to accommodate the rather large fiddle leaf fig that I wanted to use it for. I love the design: it looks very fresh and contemporary. it's true that the drainage hole falls right in the middle of the pot where the wood stand comes together. While I think that is in fact a design flaw, it was not a deal breaker for me. I only water the fiddle leaf fig once a week, so I don't mind that the water in fact drains in the middle. Other than that fact (again, not a deal breaker for me), it was perfect for my needs and I love the look.

I love this planter. It was exactly what I was looking forward. I was worried it wouldn’t be big enough, but It is definitely big. You will need extra potting soil to fill it with plants!
