The planter does not have a bottom. Even though in the q and a you will read Q: "Does the planter have a bottom?" asked by Christina A: "Yes, the planter box comes with a bottom." Fred from Wayfair.ca on Jun 04, 2019 it's not true. Four sides, no bottom. Nothing to hold soil in place. Maybe okay if you will never ever decide to change planter's location. And don't mind losing potting soil every time it rains. Photo shows every piece that comes in the box.

Was disappointed to find that the “drainage holes” advertised in the product specs are just one big hole in the bottom. If you’re considering this for a patio, be advised that there is no bottom, so you’ll either need to attach it to something and add drainage holes or be ok with dirt directly on the surface you set it on (not ideal if that’s a wood deck). Otherwise, feels relatively sturdy. Took about a half hour to put together and wasn’t difficult.
